The Pandora Project, a program of the Trauma Foundation located at San Francisco General Hospital is dedicated to addressing the Pandora Effect, the long term medical consequences of violence. The mission of the Pandora Project is to improve the health and medical care of victims of violence through educating providers and survivors of violence, stimulating research and promoting preventive action through media advocacy and health policy.
